Carolina Panthers quarterback and 2011 No. 1 overall pick Cam Newton has generated more buzz than any other rookie heading into the NFL season, but he's not the draft pick likely to make the biggest impact on his team.
Newton simply has too far to go as a passer to make this list of first-rounders likely to be significant contributors this season. The 10 players below, though, appear ready to play big roles for their teams.
