There are many things to consider when evaluating running back prospects, and the various NFL offensive systems emphasize different skill sets, but talking to NFL personnel people over the years has helped me create a list of five questions that must be asked of any running back. All five must get "yes" answers before a player's potential to be a productive NFL back is confirmed and the rest of his evaluation can be completed.
