Seahawks make two minor moves

The Seahawks made two roster moves Tuesday, releasing backup tight end John Owens and backup running back Xavier Omon, according to a source. Owens came to the Seahawks as a backup tight end last year by signing a two-year, $1.9 million contract as an unrestricted free agent. He became expendable when the Seahawks signed Chris Baker this offseason. Omon was a practice squad player in 2009 who re-signed with the team in January.
