Raiders' surprising move

In a surprise pre-camp move, the Raiders released defensive end Stryker Sulak, one of their sixth-round picks, his agent, Rob Lattinville, confirmed. The move was a surprise because the Raiders have two weeks before the start of their training camp. Lattinville had not received a contract offer from the Raiders and was informed of the move by people who read the release on the NFL waiver wire. The Raiders drafted two defensive ends in the sixth round: Sulak and Slade Norris. Since the draft, they added veteran defensive end Greg Ellis.
