Chiefs' Edwards on shaky ground

By announcing he is going to look outside the organization to replace outgoing team president Carl Peterson, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has put coach Herm Edwards on notice that his job might be in jeopardy. Edwards was told by Hunt that his job would be a decision of the new general manger.
A 2-12 season is hard to overcome, and even though Hunt likes Edwards, the new general manager might want to sweep the organization clean. One candidate who could save Edwards is former Jets general manager Terry Bradway, who's currently a lead scout for the Jets.
