Q: The Philadelphia Eagles have been playing well the last couple weeks. Do you think they'll be vastly improved next year and do they still have a playoff shot this year?
-- Jacob (N.J.)
A: Forget about next year for now, Jacob. If the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants all finish 8-8 -- and it's not out of the question -- Philadelphia would win the division. Philadelphia still needs more help and a number of games to go a certain way. But the biggest one came Sunday, when Washington upset the Giants. Now, anything is possible. And before we go on to next year for the Eagles, it would be wise to see how this season finishes out.
Q: That was a downright embarrassing performance for my New York Giants. They don't even deserve to make the playoffs after a showing like that. Who should take the most blame for that loss?
-- Taylor (N.Y.)
