I spent last weekend in ACC country, scouting a trio of games that included Virginia Tech-North Carolina, Virginia-Duke and Florida State-NC State, and it was a fruitful trip.
I saw plenty of top prospects up close -- including a big-name quarterback and some solid skill-position players -- but the theme of the day for me was outstanding play along the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Here's what I saw in the trenches, and be sure to check back tomorrow for notes on the other top prospects I saw, including a potential first-round quarterback and a record-setting wideout.
