While watching film in preparation for the Notre Dame-Pittsburgh game, I was treated to an entertaining Week 3 matchup between Iowa OT Riley Reiff and Pittsburgh DE Brandon Lindsey.
Reiff and Lindsey faced each other on around 35 percent of the Hawkeyes' offensive snaps, and the matchup played out about how I expected based on preseason film study of each player.
Reiff has good strength and got the best of Lindsey in the running game. His initial quickness, good angles and strong base showed up when he got under Lindsey at one point and drove him 5 yards off the ball before planting on him on his back.
