Louisville strikes again, Deon Rogers now on board with the Cards

Four-star outside linebacker Deon Rogers (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast) has decommitted from Georgia in favor of Louisville, ESPN's Billy Tucker reports.

Rogers also considered Florida State, LSU and Ohio State. Duke, Purdue and Buffalo were among his other offers.

"I just felt like Louisville was a better fit," Rogers told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Georgia fired the coach that was recruiting me [John Jancek] and I just never felt as comfortable after that. I still like Georgia as a school and as a football program. But I'd built a bond and a relationship with Coach Jancek and I never really got that back."

"I was kind of iffy about the 3-4," Rogers said of Georgia's defensive front change. "It looks like the linebackers he uses for that are a lot bigger and I'm not really that big yet. Overall Louisville was just a better fit."

He is the fourth four-star commitment for Louisville, all coming from the Sunshine State.
