The Seminoles topped Florida, Alabama and Notre Dame for the ESPNU 150 talent.

His brother and father, both named Willie Jones, played for Florida State.

High three-star offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio of DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, Md.) has committed to Alabama for the Class of 2010.

The 6-foot-5 prospect chose the Tide over Southern California and New Mexico.

Among his other offers were California, Maryland, Miami-Florida, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Wake Forest.

Four-star Calvin Smith (Hialeah, Fla.) is set to announce for Florida State, Tennessee, Alabama or New Mexico on ESPNU Wednesday.

Smith originally committed to the Volunteers prior to the coaching change.

Illinois, North Carolina, LSU, Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn, Miami-FL, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Purdue, Pittsburgh and Arkansas were among his other offers.

Copiah-Lincoln standout defensive back Dequan Menzie to Tide

Alabama has landed touted 5-foot-11, 195-pound defensive back, Dequan Menzie of Copiah-Lincoln CC, Miss., for the Class of 2010.

Originally from Carver (Columbus, Ga.), Menzie was also sought by Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina and Mississippi State, among many others.

"I'm excited, man. It was everything about Alabama, as soon as I stepped on campus," Menzie told the Mobile Press-Register. "If my mom is happy, I'm happy."

In-state Corey Moore is the second junior commitment for Georgia

Safety Corey Moore of Griffin, Ga., has given the Georgia Bulldogs a Class of 2011 commitment on Junior Day in Athens.

The prospect also claims early offers from Florida, Auburn, North Carolina State and Alabama.

"I've always been a Dawg fan growing up, and I love Georgia," Moore told the Savannah Morning News. "This is the perfect place for me to play football and get my education. Georgia coaches like the way I come downhill and that I stop people in their tracks when I hit them."

Moore becomes the second 2011 commitment for Georgia, joining athlete Chris Sanders of Tucker, Ga., who also committed on Saturday.

6-foot-3, 330-pound defensive lineman Brandon Ivory of East (Memphis, Tenn.) has chosen Alabama for the Class of 2010 after decommitting from the Tigers.

The three-star Ivory also has offers from Southern Mississippi and Arkansas State.

Top junior Christian LeMay down to 10, will graduate early

2011 quarterback Christian LeMay (Mint Hill, N.C./Butler) is now only considering 10 schools from his long list of suitors, ESPN's Brian Stumpf reports.

Florida, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami-FL, Mississippi State, Florida State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina will battle for the ESPNU 150 Watch List prospect.

Additionally, the 6-foot-2, 187-pound talent hopes to narrow the field down to five by May and three by July and eventually name a "leader" instead of making a verbal commitment. LeMay will enroll at his school of choice January 2011.

Maryland, N.C. State, Oregon, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee and Michigan have also offered.

As a junior, he completed 170 of 248 attempts (68.5-percent) for 3,396 yards, 44 touchdowns and just two interceptions, leading Butler to a 15-0 state title.

Elite junior Braxton Miller names early top five

2011 Under Armour All-American quarterback Braxton Miller (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne) revealed his top group to ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com.

The ESPNU 150 Watch List talent is seriously considering Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, Alabama and Georgia. The Gators and Crimson Tide recently offered.

"I will probably wait things out and take some trips," he said. "I want to wait and see how it goes with my visits. I want to see how the offenses are and how guys are leaving early and whether I can play early."

Several other schools including Michigan, West Virginia, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Illinois, Wisconsin and North Carolina have also offered.

He completed 51-percent of his passes this season for 1,092 yards, nine touchdowns and eight interceptions while also rushing for 450 yards and 17 more scores.

In-state programs to battle for Jadeveon Clowney

2011 Under Armour All-American defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe) updated ESPN affiliate Web site TheBigSpur.com on the current status of his recruitment.

"South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Clemson, and LSU are my top schools," Clowney said. "South Carolina and Clemson would be tied for me right now."

Several other programs including Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, Miami-FL, N.C. State, UCLA and Michigan have also offered.

The ESPNU 150 Watch List talent expects to make his decision at the 2011 Under Armour Game or on national signing day.
