Latwan Anderson still with West Virginia but schedules USC visit

As expected, four-star defensive back Latwan Anderson (Cleveland, Ohio/Glenville) did not mail in his letter of intent on Wednesday.

He told ESPN affiliate Web site EerSports.com, "My situation is, basically I'm searching around to make sure I'm making the right decision. Not searching around to change my mind, but making sure West Virginia is the place."

"As far as West Virginia, there's nothing more they can show me to hurt them or to help them," he added. "And as far as Ohio State, it's the same thing. Right now, the whole thing is just learning USC, just to compare them to Ohio State and West Virginia. That's just what I'm doing right now."

Anderson has tentative plans to make an official visit to USC but it does not appear that Ohio State is still an option.

OSU coach Jim Tressel is unable to comment directly on specific unsigned recruits. However, he was asked if there would still be room in this class for an extra defensive back. (The Buckeyes signed four Wednesday.). "No," Tressel replied.
