Class of 2011 offensive lineman Dylan Admire (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley West) made an unofficial visit to Nebraska and received a scholarship offer.

He has junior days lined up for the next three weekends to Kansas, Kansas State and Iowa State.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound prospect earned First Team Class 6A All-State honors as a junior.

Andre Dawson signs with Northern Iowa to stay close to home

Running back Andre Dawson (Cedar Rapids, Ia./Washington) signed with Northern Iowa Wednesday spurning multiple BCS-Conference scholarship offers.

The Sioux City Journal writes that Dawson, "signed with Northern Iowa in order to stay closer to his mother, Hilda Dawson, a breast cancer survivor who can't venture too far from home due to chemotherapy and radiation treatments."

Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Purdue and Wisconsin among others also recruited the 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect.

Dawson has rushed for over 3,700 combined yards during his junior and senior seasons.

Four-star Trayvon Henry heading to Butler Community College

Trayvon Henry (Millwood, Okla.), the nation's No. 5-rated inside linebacker, signed with Butler Community College Wednesday, ESPN affiliate Web site TheShiver.com reports.

Henry was committed to Kansas at one time. He was also rumored to be part of Oklahoma's class much earlier during the recruiting cycle.

Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Louisville and Tulsa also recruited the four-star talent.

Cowboys lasso ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback J.W. Walsh

Junior signal-caller J.W. Walsh (Denton, Texas/Guyer) committed to sign with Oklahoma State's Class of 2011 late Monday night, ESPN affiliate Web site InsideTexas.com reports.

Walsh also had early scholarship offers from Arizona, Kansas and Houston. Regional powers Texas and Oklahoma were showing heavy interest.

He completed 185 of 286 attempts (64.7-percent) for 2,599 yards, 27 touchdowns and six interceptions as a junior. Walsh also carried 168 times for 1,554 yards (9.3 average) and 22 more scores.

As a sophomore, he amassed almost 2,000 total yards of offense and accounted for 14 touchdowns.

Walsh is the third Class of 2011 commitment for Oklahoma State joining offensive lineman Travis Cross (Plano, Texas/West) and defensive back Isaac Maselera (Glenpool, Okla.).

Cleveland defensive lineman Micah Robinson set for Syracuse

The Orangemen have landed a Class of 2010 pledge from 6-foot-4, 260-pound Micah Robinson of John Adams (Cleveland, Ohio).

Robinson was also sought by Cincinnati, Kansas, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Akron, Bowling Green, Toledo and Western Michigan.

JUCO defensive back Dave Clark gives pledge to the Volunteers

Dave Clark, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back from Independence CC, Kan., has picked Tennessee for the Class of 2010.

Originally from Capitol (Baton Rouge, La.), he signed during the early period with Kansas, but gained his release from the new coaching staff. He was also sought by Louisiana Tech and Arkansas.

Clark suffered a torn ACL before the 2009 season and had to sit out. He expects to be full strength before this upcoming Fall.

Three-star running back Brandon Bourbon swaps Stanford for Jayhawks

Brandon Bourbon, a 6-foot-2, 205- pound running back out of Potosi, Mo., has picked Kansas for the Class of 2010.

The three-star prospect decommitted from the Stanford Cardinal. He also considered Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, BYU, Kansas State, Missouri and Harvard.

"The big thing was the distance," Bourbon told ESPN affiliate Web site TheShiver.com. "I thought at first I would be tough and deal with the distance, but I started think that if I came to KU, my parents would be able to come to a lot of games or at least see them on T.V."

Dexter McDonald dumps Illini for Missouri, dumps Tigers for Kansas

A three-star cornerback, Dexter McDonald of Rockhurst (Kansas City, Mo.) has pledged to sign with the Jayhawks' recruiting Class of 2010 after decommitting from the Tigers.

McDonald (6-foot-2, 190-pounds) had been committed to Illinois before making the move to Missouri last week.

He has also been offered by Iowa State.

Highly-recruited Zack Bolton switches from Illinois to Utes

Three-star offensive lineman Zack Bolton of Klein Forest (Houston, Texas), has changed his Class of 2010 pledge from the Illini to Utah.

A 6-foot-2, 260-pound prospect, who originally committed to Kansas in August, is recovering from a season-ending torn ACL in December. He was also offered by Nebraska, Arizona, Missouri, Wake Forest, Minnesota, SMU, Rice, Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, North Texas and New Mexico State.

"I visited last weekend and really liked the location and players and attitude there," he told the Salt Lake Tribune. "It came down to the football programs, and Utah is doing a better job than Illinois at this moment."

Bolton joins prep teammate, Damian Payne, as prospects for Utah.
