The Red Raiders have added a pledge from defensive back/receiver LaVaughn Whigham of Southridge (Miami, Fla.) for the Class of 2010.

Whigham decommitted from Central Michigan.

Southern Mississippi, Louisville, Marshall and Northern Illinois had also offered the 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect.

From Southridge (Miami, Fla.), Jermaine Kelson has given a commitment to Marshall for the Class of 2010.

The 5-foot-7, 160-pound athlete/defensive back, who originally picked Central Michigan, has decommitted from the Chippewas.

Albany scatback Tony Zenon makes decision for Georgia Tech

The Yellow Jackets have gained offensive-threat Tony Zenon of Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, Ga.) for the Class of 2010.

The 5-foot-7, 160-pound Zenon also holds offers from Alabama-Birmingham, Marshall and Central Michigan.

He rushed for 2,300 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior.

Zenon registered an electronically-timed 4.56 40-yard dash, 4.43 20-yard shuttle and 30.4-inch vertical at the Atlanta Nike Combine.

Slated for the offensive line, Walton is 6-foot-6, 280-pounds.

Cornerback Khari Burke of South Plantation (Plantation, Fla.) has committed to Middle Tennessee over Central Michigan and Bowling Green.

The 5-8, 165-pound prospect also considered Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic and Western Kentucky.

As a senior, Burke had five interceptions and returned one for a touchdown.

From Winton Woods (Cincinnati, Ohio), defensive back Avery Cunningham has picked Central Michigan for the Class of 2010.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Cunningham is rated as a two-star prospect.

"I felt that I was wanted there,"Cunningham told mlive.com. "I felt like it was a home away from home and that I had enough people around me and enough support around me. Athletic-wise and academic-wise Central Michigan is a perfect fit."
