He has signed and already in school for the spring semester.

East Carolina has gained a Class of 2010 commitment from Torian Richardson of Byrnes (Duncan, SC) for the defensive backfield.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect has also drawn offers from Mississippi State, Kansas State, Louisville, Michigan State, Rutgers, Syracuse and Tulane.

From Rutherford (Panama City, Fla.), lineman Sean Watson has pledged to Florida Atlantic's recruiting Class of 2010.

A 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive tackle, he was also sought by Arkansas, Baylor, East Carolina, Florida International and Toledo.

Georgia cornerback Chris Sharpe commits to Middle Tennessee State

The Blue Raiders have collected a pledge from cornerback Chris Sharpe of Stephenson (Stone Mountain, Ga.) for the Class of 2010.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Sharpe, once set for East Carolina, had dropped the Pirates for Louisville. The Cardinals did not accept his commitment.

He also has offers from Southern Mississippi, Wisconsin, Tulane and Western Kentucky.

Raleigh field-general Gabriel Henderson pulls pledge to Kent

From Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh (N.C.), quarterback Gabriel Henderson has decommitted from Kent State.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound prospect is now considering East Carolina, Kansas and Toledo.

As a senior, Henderson passed for 2600-yards and 31 touchdowns. He added 1008-yards rushing and eight scores.

From Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Md.), Chrishon Rose has accepted a Class of 2010 offer from the Pirates.

New Mexico had also offered the 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive tackle prospect.

East Carolina has 19 commitments.

2011 Justus Pickett holding three offers

Junior athlete Justus Pickett (Charlotte, N.C./Kell) has already received scholarship offers from Duke, Stanford and East Carolina, ESPN affiliate Web site TheBigSpur.com reports.

Other programs, including the Gamecocks, are also recruiting Pickett, "South Carolina is showing great interest so far," he said.

Pickett rushed for approximately 1,400 yards and scored 19 touchdowns as a junior.
