Miami Northwestern High School

Scouts Grade: 80

Position Rank: 8

It's Louisville for four-star offensive lineman Torrian Wilson

Under Armour All-American offensive guard Torrian Wilson of Northwestern (Miami, Fla.) has committed to Louisville over Michigan and Central Florida.

Originally committed to Stanford, Wilson also considered Memphis, Tennessee, South Florida, Alabama, Miami-Florida, LSU, UCLA, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Western Kentucky and Florida.

ESPN's Craig Haubert added, "Lost in the recent news of the all the big coaching moves is the job that new head coach Charlie Strong is doing at Louisville. The former Florida defensive coordinator has been very active since taking over the Big East program landing good talent and he just added one of his biggest pick ups from a familiar place. With two Miami Northwestern prospect already on board, the Cardinals picked up a commitment from former Stanford commit Torrian Wilson."

"As Strong tries to rebuild a Louisville program that ranked near the bottom in most offensive categories he is getting in Wilson a big lineman with a good motor. He needs to keep developing physically, but he has good feet. We think his best fit will be at guard, but the Cardinals could try and develop him at right tackle also."

"Strong had great success in the state of Florida as a coach and has been active there as a recruiter even though he is now in the Midwest. With Wilson on board the Cardinals top three commits are all from the sunshine state and players that Strong has brought on board. This likely won't be the last time we see the Cardinals active in the state Florida."

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Wilson joins prep teammates Corvin Lamb and Michaelee Harris as pledges for the Cardinals.
