Ohio tight end Justin Favors heading to Boulder, Colo.

Justin Favors (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison), a three-star prospect, committed to sign with Colorado following an official visit to campus, NittanyNetwork.com's Bill Kurelic reports.

"What I liked best was the game. liked the atmosphere and the campus. And the players welcomed me in," Favors said. "They are graduating six tight ends. They need tight ends to come in. They told me I've got a chance to play next season if I work hard."

Syracuse, Toledo, Ohio, Kent State and Bowling Green also offered. He has an official visit scheduled for The Orange, but is unsure of whether he'll make it.

The Rockets now have 11 pledges.

Nebraska and Iowa State had shown interest.

The Bobcats have six commitments.

6-foot-2, 185-pound defensive back Omar Leftwich of Huntsville, Ala./Fort Scott CC, Kan., has decommitted from the Bobcats.

He is now interested in Arkansas, Kansas State and Tennessee.

Bowling Green tops fierce MAC competition for Darius Gilbert

6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive lineman Darius Gilbert, from Hamilton, Ohio, has accepted an offer from Bowling Green.

Gilbert was also offered by Akron, Ohio, Toledo, Ball State and Kent State.

"I really liked the environment up there," he told the Journal News. "The coaches and the players seemed cool."

Gilbert, who had 8.5 sacks as a junior, is the 15th Class of 2010 commitment for the Falcons.

Syracuse gains 2010 receiver Adrian Flemming

From Broad Run (Ashburn, Va.), wideout Adrian Flemming has given the Orange a Class of 2010 commitment.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Flemming holds other offers from Temple, Ohio and Marshall. He had 32 receptions for 642 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.

He registered a 4.59 40-yard dash, 4.29 20-yard shuttle, 7.03 three-cone drill and 35.5-inch vertical at the Baltimore Under Armour Combine.

Syracuse now has 14 pledges.

The Falcons have landed a Class of 2010 commitment from receiver Heath Jackson of Ada, Ohio.

He was also offered by Central Michigan, Ohio and Toledo.

The 6-foot, 165-pound prospect had 74 receptions for 1068 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior.

West Virginia junior Allan Wasonga gaining interest

Class of 2011 running back Allan Wasonga (Parkersburg, W.V.) is currently holding a written offer from Ohio and a verbal one from Syracuse, ESPN affiliate Web site EerSports.com reports.

Other programs such as West Virginia, Ohio State, Maryland, Florida State, UCLA and Marshall are also showing interest.

Last season, he rushed for 1,937 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Bowling Green has landed a commitment from Darion Delaney, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive/defensive lineman from Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, Ohio) for the Class of 2010.

He was also offered by Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Miami-Ohio and Ohio.

A 6-foot-1, 225-pound running back/linebacker, Tyler Lombardo of L'anse Creuse (Harrison Township, Mich.) has given a Class of 2010 pledge to Central Michigan.

Lombardo, who was also offered by Ohio, rushed for 926 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior.

The Chips now have 12 commitments.
