USC boasts a number of the top units
Arkansas (Darren McFadden and Felix Jones) and Clemson (James Davis and C.J. Spiller) have the top running back tandems in the country, but neither made this list because of severe deficiencies at the quarterback position. West Virginia, on the other hand, boasts a premier starter at quarterback (Pat White), running back (Steve Slaton) and fullback (Owen Schmitt). The trio rushed for 3,314 yards and 41 touchdowns last season, and White threw for 1,655 more yards and 13 more scores.
