Editor's note: ESPN.com's Mel Kiper Jr. continues his look at key players on Division I-A teams with his lists of the five most important players for each team in SEC East Division (schools listed in alphabetical order).
Florida Gators
1. Chris Leak, QB, jr. Sped up his throwing motion a bit to adjust to Urban Meyer's timing offense, and though Leak will take some hits in this spread scheme he should be productive passing the ball.
2. Chad Jackson, WR, jr. Arguably the best player on the team, he was much more consistent in the spring and looks ready for a breakout year as the go-to receiver.
3. Mike Degory, C, sr. Has started every game (38) in his career and is an important leader up front, banging heads with the standout defensive tackles in the SEC.
4. Brandon Siler, MLB, so. Led the team in tackles as a true freshman, only the second player in school history to do so.
5. Demetrice Webb, CB, jr. The best cover guy on the team will have to be on top of his game if the Florida defense is going to be effective.
