Trojans, Longhorns move one step closer
While USC and Texas will still be in solid shape atop the new BCS Standings, LSU is in good position for a one-loss team, projects Brad Edwards.

With one more unbeaten team off the board, the BCS moves one step closer to the much-anticipated Rose Bowl meeting between Texas and USC.
The Longhorns easily disposed of Texas Tech on Saturday, dropping the number of unbeaten teams in Division I-A to six. And among those six, it's hard to find a remaining schedule more manageable than what lies ahead of the Horns. Although its game at Texas A&M could still be tricky, Texas is the only unbeaten team that won't play another game against the current Top 25.
