Patterson tries to keep TCU upset in perspective

Gary Patterson kept making comparisons. And none of them seemed to fit.
Asked Tuesday about a letdown against SMU after Texas Christian's momentous upset of Oklahoma, the coach recalled how his team beat Southern Miss last season only to lose bowl eligibility the next week.
Patterson then remarked that the Horned Frogs' handling of the crowd noise at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium would groom them for future road trips to BYU, Wyoming and Air Force.
