Rare has a program been at a crossroads quite like the one Boston College faces going into the 2004 season. And at issue isn't just standard personnel concerns, like how to replace several key offensive starters on a team that finished second in the Big East total offense last year (404.2 yards, less than two yards per game behind leader Pittsburgh).
