Cameron Newton took the lead in the Heisman Predictor after the sixth week of the college football season; the next week, LaMichael James moved into second place. They've been 1-2 ever since.

With each passing week it becomes increasingly unlikely that anyone other than James or Newton takes home the hardware, but there are still invitations to New York City up for grabs.

Behind Newton and James, seven players are within 10.5 points.
