Despite back-to-back bowl wins, UK lost four offensive players -- quarterback Andre Woodson, tight end Jacob Tamme, and receivers Keenan Burton and Steve Johnson -- that were picked in the NFL draft. Yet rather than poor-mouth his team's 2008 chances, Brooks proclaimed after last year's Music City Bowl win that he thought the Cats could go back to postseason play again this season. When spring practice started, he said he would be "very disappointed" if UK was not in a bowl game.
