Virginia Tech-Boston College matchups highlight ACC season

From the epic Virginia Tech-Boston College matchups to Clemson's surprising season to Miami's disappointment in the Orange Bowl, here is a team-by-team look at the ACC regular season.
Boston College
The talent was there for first-year coach Jeff Jagodzinski, but with only two holdovers from the previous coaching staff, some questioned whether it would all come together. After falling behind 14-0 to defending ACC champ Wake Forest in the season opener, Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan threw five touchdown passes to win the game -- a foreshadowing of the team that would emerge. Ryan led his team to stunning fourth-quarter comebacks against Virginia Tech and Clemson, but when it came time for BC (10-3, 6-2) to beat the Hokies again for the ACC championship, Ryan didn't throw one touchdown pass.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
