Another can't-wait-for-basketball season at Illinois might have taught Ron Zook's young team, and its fans, a cautionary lesson for the future. Back on Sept. 30, after opening the Big Ten with a last second 23-20 win at Michigan State, a strange and unfamiliar word began passing the lips among lllini Nation. The word? Bowl.
