Meyer not a fan of zero-tolerance label
Florida coach Urban Meyer doesn't like to be labeled a zero-tolerance coach. Find out why in this week's SEC notebook.
A reporter broached that subject with Meyer earlier this week in the wake of junior defensive end Jarvis Moss being suspended for Saturday's game against Western Carolina, and Meyer went off.
"Our job at a university is to educate people and correct issues," Meyer said. "You don't throw the guy away. That's not the job of a university. You don't see faculty doing it. You shouldn't see coaches doing it. Now, should you penalize them? [Yes]."
