Cutliffe performs emergency surgery on Vols offense
Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge has undergone a transformation under coordinator David Cutliffe. Whether that makeover will be sustained over the course of the year is another question.
Upon returning as the Vols' offensive coordinator last winter, David Cutcliffe changed everything from Ainge's mechanics, to his footwork, to his presence in the pocket, to the way he thinks.
"I'm going to change how you play quarterback," Cutcliffe bluntly told Ainge soon after taking the job.
