Boston College QB is a tough out for Clemson

Boston College coach Tom O'Brien lists starting quarterback Matt Ryan as questionable for Saturday's game against No. 18 Clemson in Chestnut Hill.

Clemson coach Tommy Bowden is expecting Ryan to play.

It's not that Bowden thinks O'Brien is fibbing about the status of Ryan, who sprained his left ankle during the Eagles' season-opening 31-24 win against Central Michigan last week.
