Last spring, Bobby Johnson checked another item off his personal to-do list, riding shotgun and even temporarily taking the controls in an F/A-18 Hornet with the Blue Angels of the U.S. Navy.

The highlight of the 40-minute flight? "I didn't throw up," Johnson quipped to The Tennessean.
