South Carolina and Notre Dame are both underdogs, but each should benefit from playing in their own backyard.

Every season we must relearn expensive lessons. College Football is a highly emotional game, and the home team is usually charged. This week it's back to basics. The early season non-conference schedule has produced a string of mismatches again this week. Iowa, Oklahoma State and Cal look the best of them. Otherwise, we're staying "home" this week.
