The Gators' star tight end can burn defenses five different ways

The departures of Percy Harvin (Vikings) and Louis Murphy (Raiders) to the NFL changed the dynamic of the Florida Gators offense. Opposing defenses are no longer obligated to track Harvin's every move, nor are they as preoccupied with the threat of Murphy and QB Tim Tebow to attack the vertical perimeter.
The end result is that the Gators are not nearly as explosive today as they were in 2008, yet they somehow have one more regular-season win than last year and are in a position to repeat as SEC and BCS champions.
A big reason for Florida's continued success is the emergence of TE Aaron Hernandez, who has seen his role change from luxury item to indispensable part in the matter of one season.
