There were plenty of Pitt fans offering up QB Bill Stull for the witness protection program at this point last season, but the vibe has changed in the past few months.

The senior quarterback No. 5 in the nation in passing efficiency (161.6) and he's the driving force behind an 8-1 Panthers team in position to make a run at a BCS bowl.
