Rising Oregon sends USC sliding
1. Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli
Masoli picked the right night for a lights-out performance. The junior has endured a roller coaster of a season, including an embarrassing loss in the opener at Boise State and a knee injury that sidelined him for the UCLA game. Saturday night's 47-20 thrashing of USC healed all wounds, though. Masoli looked a bit shaky on the opening drive but settled down the next time out with four straight completions and 9 rushing yards during Oregon's first touchdown drive of the night. He and the Ducks never looked back. Masoli finished with 386 yards of total offense (222 passing, 164 rushing) and rushed for another score.
