Woodson shines in big head-to-head battle
Brian Brohm (Trinity) won the first five head-to-head battles versus Woodson (North Hardin), dating back to their high school days in the Lexington, Ky., area. But Woodson got the last laugh on Saturday night when he threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Steve Johnson with 28 seconds remaining to put Kentucky ahead for good. Woodson completed 30 of 44 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns in the upset of then No. 9-ranked Louisville. Rich Brooks' Wildcats enter the SEC schedule with a perfect 3-0 record and have won eight of their last nine.
