Freshmen making an impact on college football

It used to take a Herschel Walker-type talent to breakthrough as an influential player at a big-time college football program. Not anymore. Over the last several years, impact freshmen have been popping up all over the country -- and at all different positions. The 2006 season has been no exception. Here's my breakdown of the 10 true freshmen making the biggest impact so far this fall:
