Irons has emerged as one of the toughest, most powerful runners in college football this season. The South Carolina transfer was splitting carries early this season but has not looked back since his breakout performance against Arkansas last month. Irons has averaged 156.6 yards on 30.4 carries since Oct. 15. The junior's impressive 179-yard, two-touchdown performance "Between the Hedges" Saturday night propelled the Tigers to a 31-30 victory over SEC East-leading Georgia.
