Notre Dame moved to 4-1 on the season with a 28-21 victory over Stanford at South Bend on Saturday, thanks in large part to what is fast becoming a dynamic pass-catch tandem featuring sophomore signal-caller Jimmy Clausen and true freshman wideout Michael Floyd.

On the defensive side of the ball, senior DE Pat Kuntz has the knack for making his presence felt. A blood-and-guts type who hustles from start to finish, the 6-2½, 283-pounder recorded two sacks against Stanford, while also recovering a fumble and coming away with an interception.
