Rodgers-Cromartie's stock continues to rise on Big Board

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie made the most of his opportunities, both at the Senior Bowl and NFL combine. Now the Division I-AA cornerback has the potential to be a first-round pick in the NFL draft.

This is my 30th year of evaluating talent. Over time, two things have stayed the same: (1) You cannot overreact -- either positively or negatively -- to what you see during combine workouts. (2) It makes no sense to compare players from one year to the next. It's an inaccurate way to evaluate players.
