Ducks' Dixon has sites set on Heisman, national title game

The Oregon Ducks are in the hunt for the Pac-10 title and a possible spot in the national title game thanks in large part to QB Dennis Dixon. Not only is Dixon the leading candidate to win the Heisman, but he debuts this week on Mel Kiper's Top 25 Big Board.

Oregon QB Dennis Dixon has shot to the top of the Heisman Trophy race thanks in part to his overall consistency. He has led the Ducks to wins over USC and Arizona State the last two weeks as Oregon remains in the hunt for a spot in the BCS Title game. Dixon, along with two players from the Big Ten, debut this week on my Top 25 Big Board.
