QBs, both young and old, worth watching
Several of the top senior quarterbacks will be tested on Saturday, as will two of the most highly recruited freshman, Jimmy Clausen and Ryan Mallett. Mel Kiper previews which games and players he will be paying particular attention to this weekend.

Quarterback play is key in every game, but there are three games in particular this Saturday in which senior signal-callers could make all the difference. Then there are the two true freshmen, Jimmy Clausen and Ryan Mallett, who are trying to put their teams in the win column for the first time in 2007.
Quarterbacks won't take center stage in Tuscaloosa, Ala., but the play of Heisman hopeful Darren McFadden will. He will try to lead the Arkansas running attack against an Alabama defense that will do everything it can to stop the Hogs' ground game and force them to throw the ball.
