Moss, Harris jump onto Big Board
While the Big Board is settling into shape as the college football regular season nears an end, there are two newcomers to the top 25 this week.
The players I'm referring to are WR Sinorice Moss and DT Orien Harris. Moss, an electrifying dynamo who can turn a short completion into a coast to coast TD, will benefit on draft day from the re-emergence in the NFL this season of the smaller wide-out. Look at what Moss's older brother Santana is doing in Washington, along with the stellar job that has been turned in by Steve Smith with the Carolina Panthers.
The 5-8½, 183 pounder figures to test out as one of the fastest players in the draft, while also showcasing excellent natural pass receiving skills. The bottom line with Moss is that he's a feared weapon who also brings with him a great deal of versatility.
As for Harris, he's kicked it up a notch or two this season, becoming a force on a game to game basis. Blessed with a ton of talent, the 6-3, 300 pounder has bounced back from a subpar junior campaign, going out and maximizing his ability on a consistent basis in 2005. This season, he's done a great job battling through the double team, proving to be a disruptive force along the Hurricanes defensive front.
