*Virginia Tech was Lane (Stadium) Duck against Miami
*Miami makes a statement, and the fans at Camp Randall say goodbye to a class coach in Barry Alvarez, writes Kirk Herbstreit in this week's wrap-up.
We thought that we'd know more about the Hokies and Marcus Vick after the game and we definitely found out that Miami is for real. The future is still bright for Vick, but Saturday night the Hokies were dominated on both sides of the ball. From the moment Larry Coker's team took the field, you could see a different look in their eyes. Quarterback Kyle Wright and the Miami offense grew up on Saturday and the sky's the limit for them in the future.
This was a great win for Coker, and offensive coordinator Dan Werner had a great game plan. Many people had been putting some undeserved heat on Coker and this win silenced those critics and showed that Miami is here to stay.
