Thanksgiving is one day that the NFL has on college football.

There aren't many. The pageantry of college football almost every week features something more intriguing than Arizona-St. Louis or Buffalo-Houston or many of the other flip-a-coin matchups the parity-driven NFL offers.

Thanksgiving, maybe the NFL championship Sunday, when you get two games for the price of one (at least until the league goes to pay TV), and the Super Bowl.
