Respecting the past and planning the future
If elected commissioner of college football, I would add a playoff, change overtime and insist that the Song Girls travel, writes Beano Cook.

If only college football had a commissioner to solve the major problems in this great sport and tweak the minor ones.
I would nominate myself for this position, but such an undertaking deserves a 10-year contract.
And at this stage of the game -- once you turn 70, you're in overtime -- I don't buy green bananas.
