Nebraska at Wisconsin

Nebraska brings a strong running game and athletic defense into its first-ever Big Ten game at Wisconsin in Week 5.

Nebraska offense vs. Wisconsin defense
• Cornhuskers QB Taylor Martinez has impressive burst on designed keepers and read- and speed-options, but he doesn't have great power, so Wisconsin must keep him hemmed in. The Badgers' defensive backs will play a big role in this area, and CBs Antonio Fenulus and Marcus Cromartie are more than willing to step up in run support and fight off blocks. Nebraska runs the ball more than twice as much as it passes, so expect Wisconsin to stack the line of scrimmage and move a safety up into the box. FS Aaron Henry and SS Shelton Johnson will rotate in the box, and both must be careful not to get too far inside or caught in traffic. The safety lined up deep must also take good pursuit angles to prevent Martinez from outrunning defenders.
