• Broncos RB Doug Martin enters the 2011 season as one of the most underrated backs in the nation. At 5-foot-9 and 213 pounds, Martin runs with a low center of gravity and has above-average vision and power. Expect first-year offensive coordinator Brent Pease to give the senior a heavy load as Boise breaks in a relatively young and inexperienced receiver corps. Don't expect Martin's yards to come easy, though. The Bulldogs bring a massive four-man rotation along the defensive line in their base 3-4 front, with each player tipping the scales at more than 300 pounds. Sophomore NT Kwame Geathers and juco transfer NT John Jenkins both check in at 350 pounds and should be able to eat up plenty of space. The Broncos return three starters along an offensive line anchored by LT Nate Potter, and all Broncos linemen must play with leverage if they wish to provide running room for Martin on Saturday night.
