Boise State at Nevada

Boise State faces a final road test when the Broncos head to Nevada in Week 13.

Boise State offense vs. Nevada defense
• The Broncos had a lackluster performance on the ground last week, thanks to uncharacteristic mental errors up front and a failure to consistently sustain blocks. The majority of RB Doug Martin's 72 yards came after contact, and Boise State's offensive line will have to be sharper this week against Nevada's undersized but scrappy defensive line. Wolf Pack DT Brett Roy has excellent snap anticipation to gain consistent penetration, while DE Dontay Moch displays elite first-step quickness to gain proper initial position on the edge. Martin and backup RB Jeremy Avery will have to earn their yards this week, but offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin must continue to give them ample carries to provide the Broncos with balance, which will set up QB Kellen Moore and Boise's effective play-action game.
