Wisconsin at Michigan

Wisconsin brings a big, strong offensive line to Michigan in Week 12 to take on a Wolverines defense that is depleted by injuries.

Wisconsin offense vs. Michigan defense
• Badgers RB John Clay is questionable (knee), but Wisconsin can establish an effective between-the-tackles ground game even if Clay does not play. Michigan NT Mike Martin is a tough interior run-stuffer whose quickness and active hands gave Wisconsin guard John Moffitt problems last year, but Martin (ankle) is questionable as well and will have his work cut out for him if he does play. Moffitt and the rest of the interior offensive linemen are playing at a high level, and Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst can keep Martin off balance by pulling his guards and having C Bill Nagy block back on Martin. Chryst also can pull Nagy around the edge on the play side and block down with one of the guards when Martin lines up over Nagy. That bodes well for 236-pound RB Montee Ball, a downhill runner who's at his best grinding out yards inside.
