West Virginia offense vs. Florida State defense
• The No. 1 priority for the FSU defense will be slowing down the Mountaineers' spread rushing attack. Of course, that's easier said then done. The Seminoles' defensive line has had issues maintaining gap control throughout the season and will struggle to anchor against a physical West Virginia offense line. This should provide creases for pint-sized but explosive RB Noel Devine (5-foot-8, 176 pounds) and QB Jarrett Brown when conducting the zone-read play. Florida State SLB Dekoda Watson and WLB Nigel Bradham are blessed with elite athleticism and range, but have experienced major field discipline issues. It will be crucial for these two to take better angles with their run fits and not overrun the play or it will play right into Devine's hands as he has the vision and burst to exploit any cutback lanes.
