Houston vs. Air Force

Keenum's skills will be too much for the Falcons

Houston offense vs. Air Force defense
• QB Case Keenum pilots the most productive passing attack in the FBS against an Air Force pass defense that has surrendered the fewest passing yards per game in the FBS. Keep a close eye on the chess match that unfolds between Falcons defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter and Houston QB Case Keenum. DeRuyter intends to throw a number of different looks at Keenum in an effort to keep him, his receivers and his pass-blockers off balance. While this increases the chances of breakdowns in coverage, the Falcons have had a month to prepare for this game, so it's not as much of a concern as it would be during the regular season. It still may not matter, however; Keenum has the quick release and smarts to beat the blitz as well as the poise and short-to-intermediate accuracy to pick soft zone looks apart.
